secondary Gender

The reading " Secondary Gender" in my opinion was quite interesting, I find it funny to believe that the author really found that women were second to men. This is funny because first,with us women, men wouldn't not exist except for the creation of Adam. Women have to reproduce in order for men to find us second to none. Secondly, according to the author women were made so that the man would have object to desire. why do women have to be an object? why can't we be just as equal to men? It seems like no matter what year, century that we are in women are always considered to lower than a man. Women as a whole could very be the same because we weren't created the same or first.
